Computer won't turn on, please help

My computer is turning on, peeping once then turning off. I've reseated the ram, reinstalled the CPU cooler. everything is lighting up. I have notice when booting up the light on the dram indicator flashed before turning off and then it trys to turn on again, it's a constant loop.

 

It's a Asus z 170 mark 1, skylake 17, avexir 2100 8 gb ram (2), Samsung 512 ssd .

try a quick cmos reset and go in the bios and set things up as normal.

if that doesn't work, pull ram, install 1 stick in farthest slot from cpu and boot. (if)... swap in other stick (if)....... swap slots.

Okay! So it seems only one ram sticks works it seems. Thank you it now works.

so when you get your rma ( return authorization ) ask if you need to send both sticks back. you may have to send the set back, not just the 1 stick unless purchased separately.
