I want to say yes. Mainly in games like the Division or Witcher 3 where there are a lot of AI.

depends on the game and resolution.

If you play LoL in 4k, probably not. In any other game u will notice some cpu bottlenecking.

I can get two MSI 960's for very little money, so I wanted to know if the i3 would bottleneck. I am planning on building a gaming pc.

What kind of a "very little money" deal is it? 50 bucks each? The RX 480 is just around the corner. It will cost 200 and will deliver nearly gtx 980 performance.

How much money? The RX 480 4gb model will be around 200 usd and should be much better.

Just wait for the RX 480. A single more powerful card is always better than SLI.

I am still looking at my options. These two cards will be on an action, so I might get both for little money. I might go for the RX 480 if it really is as good as AMD says.

And now my next question: Will the RX 480 bottleneck the i3 6100?
