gaming upgrade pc

what do u guys think about this build 

ill scavenge the hdd,case and cooler from my old pc

after 4 years im planning to keep the same pc and just change the gpu for the gtx1270 or equal amd

In my opinion if you're just going to be gaming generally speaking than it would be better to move down to an i5 instead.

Not sure if you've added a CPU cooler? Make sure you do. Because the "K" series CPUs don't come with stock coolers
