I have put my rig together, it has a post. Fhew! All parts seem to be doing well!

I ordered the GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 just last Thursday, and it should arrive on Wednesday.

Have not run any benchmarks other than stress tests in CPU-Z, but I will benchmark once I receive the 1070.

The rig looks amazing, and is up to par with almost everything i throw at it. When I get the 1070, this rig will laugh at games.

Going for 1440p gaming, may dip into 4k if there are indie games that can be set to that.

I imagine with some overclocking I can get some serious 4k Battlefront going, but I only have that on PS4.

My YouTube channel will benefit greatly from this upgrade, as my old videos were encoded on a 550Ti and an Intel Core 2 Quad at like 1.2ghz. Yuck.

Assuming you'll add an HDD in there at some point? And the liquid CPU cooler is a bit overkill imo, buuuut hey, good stuff.

Hopefully Nvidia will cut the crap soon with their production and actually get cards in the hands of the consumers. Also, I'd say it may be worth considering a GTX 980ti if you can find one close to $400 and don't want to wait for a 1070

I know the CPU Cooler is overkill.  It was a good deal, 94 bucks for it!

I agree, Nvidia needs to lower the prices of the 9 series asap.

The 1070 is cheaper than most of the better end of the 9 series and performs so much better.
