Keyboard Lag Help

Hello,

 

I am using a Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000. Whenever I play basically any game (TF2, Portal, Roblox, you name it) the keyboard will lag ferociously. It will be about a five second delay between me pressing the key and my player actually moving. Sometimes, I will move even if I'm not pressing anything. Mouse movements do not lag at all. This has been an on/off issue for the past year now. Help?

I've turned off filter keys and sticky keys, but it didn't help.

Is the keyboard wireless?

No, it's a USB 2.0 keyboard.

Does it do it outside of games?

Slightly, sometimes.

I'm going to try this right now. Anyone have other suggestions?
