I will start my build log here soon and this is last thing that crossed my mind before starting.

http://de.pcpartpicker.com/user/MadG4mer/saved/tmW2FT (link to the part list)

I started to think about switching the SSD with M.2 one, is it possible to do so? (It would be the only drive in the system for now)

Link to the M.2 drive: http://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/512GB-Samsung-SM951-NVMe-M-2-2280-PCIe-3-0-x4-32Gb-s-MLC-Toggle--MZVPV51_1002178.html

If there is anything else wrong in the list please let me know.

Thank you!

-Mad

0oo That build is very simmlar to my one at the moment. The motherboard is amazing once its on btw. ;)

Yes you can swap out the SATA one for an M.2, wrapping it may not be the best idea however as they require airlflow alone to cool.

Is there any differences between M.2 despite their size or are all them compatible?

Depending on what ones you go for you may get more or less read/write speeds/IOPS. But they are all very VERY fast. I can notice the difference in boot times and general responsiveness between my 850 Evo and 950Pro.

Thank you! Now I'm starting to be all clear.

The M.2 you linked is NVMe. You should check to k\make sure the motherboard supports booting from NVMe, or get a non-NVMe SSD.

(I can't get the product page to load atm.)

Why would you want to wrap the SSD?

A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve.

i5-6600, 16Gigs, ITX Corsair 250D, R9 390, 120Gig M.2 boot, 500Gig SATA SSD, no HDD

Just the top of it to make it look like the Carbon fibre mobo
