Apple TV/Amazon Fire TV Help (UltraWide)

I was wondering if Fire or Apple TV or any other device supports 21:9 monitors? I am currently using an LG 3440x1440p monitor and I was wondering if one of these devices will work properly? I know watching TV shows I will get black bars on the side.
