Hello can someone please help me. This past week every time I load in a server on any game my computer just shuts down, theirs no blue screen or any thing just black then it turns back on.

I talked to some friends they said it could be the temperature of my CPU it was at 70c - 158f, they said maybe getting a new heat sink and fan might help, i applied new thermal paste that didn't help.

I looked at some other form posts and they all said it could be my power supply to. I opened task manager my CPU was at like 70-100% so i thought it wasn't the heat and also my Disk was is at like 100%. If anyone can help that would be great.

Thanks.

Download and run Aida64 and see what your temps get during load. Also, post your CPU and cooler setup but it definitely sounds like thermal protection kicking in.

What I am understanding from the information you have given is that most of your components are being used to 100%? well, there are a tank load of reason that could be, try to find the exact process that is causing it to getting all worked up and try to resolve it by simply googling the process that is hogging all the resources. And maybe because of this working up your psu is stressing, maybe the psu is not getting enough from the wall outlet. On top of that there are bunch of possiblities, if possible try installing maybe linux just to see if its the os that is infected. So, I would re install os, or the use the new "repair" option on windows 10 to get a fresh install, maybe don't keep all your files if they are not that significant to you

There is a graph looking icon on the toolbar, should be the 6th from the left, should be called System Stability Test. Open that and run the CPU/FPU combo test on the CPU.

Tom is a Door... I think is more on track there... it would make sense if your power supply is dying... it would cause your cpu from not running at full power... it would also cause the power to your mother board to drop causing all your fan to drop as well... which in turn would cause your cpu to over heat and then bam.... shut down
