I am not able to use my E10k in any of the 24 bit audio modes. Windows 7 just says that this device does not support this format whenever any of the 24 bit modes are applied. I downloaded the latest software/drivers for it from FiiO's website, but I have the same problem of all the 24 bit modes not working in the software, but it just doesn't make any sound in chrome and other programs, and foobar just gets errors.  Is there something i'm missing? No one seems to have this problem but me that I can see on google. Actually, there seems to be one person here.  https://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/3ko2x2/fiio_e10k_problems/

I have tried it with window's drivers and the drivers from FiiO's website. Both have the same problem. Windows just says format not supported by this device when I try to apply the 24bit modes with either driver installed. The software from FiiO lets me select from the same audio settings as windows but wont make and sound if i select the 24 bit options.

I would contact Fiio; I'm not sure what the issue is but I would be surprised if it's one that you can fix on your own.

I tried uninstalling the drivers and using a different usb slot and it installed the driver from there, but I had the same results. Although, I did try the E10k on my laptop and all of the 24bit modes worked fine. So what on my pc is causing this to happen I wonder. Plz help anyone who may know how to fix this strange problem. Any ideas?

Just contact Fiio for support or warranty replacement. 24-bit doesn't matter on this device anyway.

How come 24 bit doesn't matter on the E10k? Also, would 24 bit benefit me in any way with gaming audio and overall audio quiality? I'm also trying to figure out what all i could be missing out on with not having 24 bit audio on in general.

Because it won't have any sonic benefit. Either use it in 16-bit mode or contact Fiio for support or a replacement. Or, contact the retailer where you bought it for a replacement.
