So, I've been building Rigs for years but finally decided to build my first custom loop.  I came across the Thermaltake Core P5 case and fell in love and knew I needed to put one together.  I'm doing research but I'm stuck on a few decisions.

First, as stated I'm going with the Thermaltake Core P5 case and that's a definite since its already purchased.  So are 2x EK GPU full waterblocks and backplates for my 2x ASUS Matrix R9 290X's.  I also already pulled the trigger on the 250 mm FrozenQ Reaction Res because I always wanted one from when I first seen it.

Now here is when I start running into questions.  Will a single loop with 2 GPUs and an AMD 8350 (OC'd to 4.8 currently on a Corsair 80GTi) be quiet and cool enough if I use a single 480 Rad such as the Hardware Labs Black Ice® SR2 and a single Swiftech MCP-655 (or EK D5).  I would like to at least keep my current overclock if not try to squeeze a bit more out of it.  Also, I was leaning towards a Raystorm pro CPU block, but i came across the Swiftech Apogee Drive 2 block that received decent reviews and adds another pump into the system...

I'm definitely going with hard tubing but haven't even started looking at tubing or fittings yet.

Basically looking for some pointers in the right direction as far as pump, rad and cpu block.  Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Rule of thumb is 120mm radiator space for each component, plus 120mm extra space as buffer. Keeping that in mind, 480mm radiator space should be sufficient.

I see you took two EKWB waterblocks for your GPU's, why not pick a EKWB Supremacy EVO for your CPU? Those blocks are among the best CPU blocks on the market. I don't have personal experience with the Swiftech MCP-655 but i've been reading good things about it.

Also, don't cheap out on fittings/adapters because you're going to regret it.

Good luck and most important of all, have fun! First dive into custom water-cooling and creating your own personal loop is an awesome experience if you ask me.
