Gaming chair

Go to solution Solved by juretrn,

Like @TheSuspect said, "gaming" chairs are pretty pointless.

I bought this and had it custom fitted. I paid about 300 €, but it was well worth it. If you spend a lot of time sitting down, you will appreciate it. Don't buy the cheap 100 € ones from your local IKEA or whatever you have in your area. Go to a company that does nothing but office chairs and specify what you want.

Also, if you can, get something that has a mesh material on the back, because it doesn't make you start sweating immediatly.

Every second you are gaming, edditing, browsing, you are sitting on a chair, which makes it more important than your rig itself, since you have to be comfy to enjoy your pc experience. Therefore i need suggestions on which chair to get. Im 1.88 (6'15) and less than 95kg (210lbs)... i was checking the dxracer chairs, but there are different models and series which got me all messed up... can yall help me and make my search a little bit easier? I really appreciate it LTT Forum :)

I also noticed there is always a massdrop on at least one model, so i might get one cheaper.

Go to a office store and try all of the swivel office chairs they have. More than likely they will be more comfortable and cheaper than a "gaming" chair. They have ones designed for long hours as well. I recommend not getting a vinyl chair as vinyl pieces fall apart after some time.

I tried a couple DxRacer chairs, but being touted as a full suspension chair I was disappointed that the base seat straps sat on the base plate, so really had no 'suspension' at all. Also the arms bowed out if you push on them when standing up (yah maybe I'm getting old, lol) and even after a month were ~3/4" wider then when I got them. I am 6'1 190. The company was helpful in their responses, but all their chairs were like that. I returned it and got a Nightingale CXO chair. The CXO is great though the foam is a bit warm in the real hot weather for my liking but its so comfy :)

Same here, no ac :( I have a thin beaded cushion I use on it when really hot. Works good and still get the nice comfy seat feel :) The back is mesh which is nice :)
