CPU/GPU Idle Temps?

PyroBlast13

Sorry if this is in the wrong location thought this was the best place. So I recently checked MSI Afterburner and noticed my CPU idle temp is at about 50-60c, and my GPU at 40c idle and I was wondering if these were ok temps.

Seems fine, CPU is a bit on the hot side though, is it overclocked or something?

Ryzen 5 1600 - GTX 980 Ti - Broke.

Is 81C ok for a gaming load though? That's about what it hits when I play games.

That's a bit warm, but most CPUs can take up to 90 C before it'll shut itself off.

GPUs are the same.

i7 4790k | MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition | G.Skill Ripjaws X 16 GB | Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB | 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB | MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr V | Fractal Design R4 | EVGA 650W

A gaming PC for your budget: $800 - $1000 - $1500 - $1800 - $2600 - $9001

If your specs are those in profile, 81C for stock i3 with stock cooler in crappy HP tower is just fine. Same goes if that 81C is GPU temp.
