Headphone question

Hey, So recently my Audio technicas ath-m50x's just broke so i made a post yesterday asking for a good pair of headphones under 200, Alot of people said i should get " Beyerdynamic DT 770 PROs " and i was looking into those but im confused on what OHMS Are, Can someone explain? Also im wondering if these would be a upgrade from my technicas or is the quality gonna be worse.

Don't worry about ohms. As for sound quality, they may be slightly better but mostly a side-grade. You may like them the same, better, or worse depending on your ears and preferences.

How long did you have them for.

yeah audio technicas are great, I just wanted to try out new headphones to see if im missing out.

Hey im trying to get the beyerdynamic dt-770-pros but if i get the 250 ohms will there be any downsides if i use them on my computer? I want the 250ms because it comes with a  longer cord.
