Hi, have a great day :D

I'm from Colombia(South America), some days ago(Like 1 week the monitor arrived at my home) I've bought(By bhphotovideo.com) a BenQ Gaming Monitor (XL 2411Z), so, yesterday I've see a little black point in my screen.

My first think was that "maybe is dirt", I tried clean it but no, it doesn't remove, so I search in google about it, trying with some programs UDPixel, and other but nothing works.

I don't know if that is a Stuck or Dead pixel.

I've attached an image about the "black point".

I wish you have a great day and Thanks!

(sorry is my English is bad)

Is it completely black, or does it have some color? Stuck pixels just stay one color, while dead pixels are just black.

From the picture it looks black, so it might be a dead pixel. Pixel deficiencies such as the ones you have, may allow you to return the monitor, for a replacement, but it depends on the manufacturer/ seller.

It doesn't seem to be as black as the black bar. A bit more greyish. Will it (partly) change color when it has to display a single/other color?

In any case, I agree with deWaardt: dead pixel. (or something to do with the layers behind the screen, pushing light through) Check the warranty of your monitor, but I think you are screwed here. I once bought a new 17" tft screen, and it had a single dead pixel. If I had 5 dead pixels, I would get a new screen, with just 1 dead pixel, I could not get warranty on it.
