Looking for a new HTPC case.

Currently looking at:

- Fractal Node 605

- Silverstone GD06

- Silverstone GD07

Anyone have experience/advice/suggestions on these or anything similar?  I am looking for a case thats a bit larger to accommodate 4+ 3.5inch HDDs since I'm going to double it as my storage server since 90%+ of my storage needs is media.  I mostly back up my BluRay and DVD collection and will be using Windows + WMC + mymovies or mediabrowser3 since I'll probably be replacing my cablebox with a Ceton infiniTV 6.

Thanks!

Thanks for the responses. The node does look the best but unfortuntely it has a slim drive (already have a normal 5.25in blurary), its the most expensive, and I would have to buy 2 more mounting brackets that I can't even find available online to have more than 2 HDDs.

What I seem to like about the GD07 is that is has two 5.25 inch drive bays (for when I need to backup new discs), already has space for 4 3.5inch HDDs and 2 2.5inch HHD/SSDs.

These cases are the only I seem to be able to find online that are between 125-160 USD.  Not really interested in a 300+ USD case.

Silverstone SG05/6? (just a different front panel)

Hmm decent looking for mATX builds but I'm looking for something more like the ones I listed above.  I have a denon receiver that is basically the same size as those cases so they would look good together.

You're looking for mATX? Sorry but the SG05/6 is ITX.

the node 605 comes with 2 tray, you can put 4 hdds in. there is the blue-ray problem tho,

I d go gd07,  it just looks cleaner than the gd08.

but

the gd07 has space for about 4 hdds and 4 odd(5.25) while the gd08 can fit 8hdd and 2 odd. (you don t need more than 2 blueray player right?)

Anything I write is just a comment, take is as such, there is no guarantees associated with anything I say.

ATX Portable rig (smaller than prodigy(LOL)) :  Nmedia 2800 | Gigabyte Z77x-ud3h  | Corsair HX1000 | Scythe Big Shuriken | i5 3570K  |  XFX R9 290 DoubleD | Corsair Vengeance 32GB

Yah the Bluray issue is whats holding me back on the node.  I rather buy another storage drive than buy the more expensive case and buy a slim drive if I already have a 5.25.  I think I'm going for the gd07.
