So ok, I have a 3770k at stock speeds, when I first got it the voltage never went to 1.2, it always stayed in the 1.1 and under when the speeds went down. However I noticed my temps going up while gaming, around 62C when before it was never above 55. So I checked my sensors and noticed my voltage is going all the way up to 1.28 at times... I haven't messed with anything in the UEFI, everything is still set to auto and such, so I'm wondering why it would take it upon itself to change the stock voltage, giving me more heat than I should have(Using NH-U14S)

1. Its set on AUTO

2. Its on load

3. Your CPU won't die if its on 62C.

4. Set voltage at 1.2v and your cpu voltage won't change.

Yes, I understand its on auto and under load, and that 62C is perfectly fine. However, the question is why previously the voltage never came close to 1.28 at stock speeds, giving me much better temps, then all of a sudden it decides that the chip requires a 1.28 voltage to run stock. Before the voltages went anywhere from 0.98 to 1.17, now they go from 1.18-2.28. That just doesn't seem normal

Maybe because at higher loads it requires higher voltage to stay higher?

Challenger Tier at League of Legends since Season 5.
