Using Android phone as desktop microphone

Hi. I need to get a microphone for my desktop to communicate with the team while I game. I am very happy with the headset I have it just does not have a micrphone so buying another headset is out of the question. 

I was thinking it would be pretty easy to use the microphone on my android phone to do this, transmit the data over wifi to my computer but all the apps I found on the play store do not actually work. 

 

I was wondering if anyone knew of an app that did or knew of another way to do this?

Then connect your phone to your pc microphone/line in and use it as a microphone. So you only need your android device and a 3,5mm male to male cable.
