I've seen one post about the hazards of painting a pcb, but I'm looking to make my M.2 drive not look like poop.

Do we think it would be safe to use double sided tape (or something similar) to attach a "shield" or something I 3D print as a cover for the drive?

I guess that anything I try to attach would need to be non-conductive, just to make sure it wouldn't short out. But would I need to worry about heat melting the tape or anything like that?

I'd just buy a M.2 cover from Coldzero. If you don like their design you could vinyl wrap it or paint it.

They ship worldwide.
