Ethernet switch or wireless?

I live in a apartment where there is dozens of wifi connections floating around and they are all on channel 1-5 until I changed mine and so did everyone else??? So now there are tons of wifi connects spread throughout all the available wifi channels and I'm getting slow speeds what switch should I get to run a pc, ps3 and possible another pecans I still want wifi for devices that can't connect to the Internet without it such as the ipad I'm typing from now...

So what exactly are you asking?

It appears you already have a router, just run the cables to your pc, ps3 and use the wireless for the ipad.

Switch is simply a port expander for a router in case you have a long cable to your router and don't want to run another one so you just plug a switch on the original wire and plug your devices into the switch, the router will take care of the rest.

Switches are so cheap these days you can get anything if you need it, though i didn't really understand what you wanted there.
