I'm making a new PC and I have a weird plan, so that I can keep all of my files from my old HDD and put it on my new SSD.

So I'm planning on building the new PC, then hooking up the old SSD, old HDD, and new SSD. I'm assuming that I will be able to boot up the old SSD that has my old windows  (am I wrong?)  so that I can go onto Acronis True Image and copy everything into the new SSD. Will this work? Would there be any problem in doing this?
