Purported Android 4.4 KitKat log file from Nexus 5 leaked (build version: KRS74H)

mgsstar

A purported Android 4.4 KitKat log file has been found, with build version KRS74H apparently coming from a Nexus 5 handset.

Myce.com, a publication that was accurate with similar leaks before, says it has discovered the Android build in question “running on a Nexus 5.”

Considering the plethora of Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 leaks and rumors we’ve seen recently, it’s certainly not surprising to see new Android versions in the wild – in fact, we expect as much considering that Google is rumored to launch KitKat alongside a new Nexus phone at some point in the coming weeks/months.

According to Myce, the log file measures 10MB in size and has 133,000 lines, but it can’t be published in full at this time, as it contains details that would identify the user of the device running the KitKat build.

However, the KitKat build reveals that it’s running on a Hammerhead device – which is a codename seen for the unreleased LG-D820 smartphone, which in turn is the rumored Nexus 5 handset.

Apparently, the log also reveals that it’s running on a device with a Full HD display (1920 x 1080) and 443 ppi, which “matches with a screen that’s about 5-inches at that resolution,” as Android Policeexplains it.

Yeah it's definitely better than the previous Nexus codenames. I mean seriously: maguro, tuna...actually? -__-

Ooh.

I hope Android 4.4 comes to the Galaxy Nexus too. Usually get the OTA update a week after it's officially released.
