I was listening to music, and suddenly the lyrics and some other parts of the audio quit playing. Having this issue before (based on a poor connection, I try wiggling my headphone jack around, unplugging and unplugging until I just loose all audio. The rear audio still works, but that is hooked up to a cheap 5.1 surround sound system, and I get a tone of static going though its headphone pass though. To see if it was some form of messed up driver or something, I got an old soundblaster SB0460, install it and its drivers and try plugging my headphones back into both the front port and the SB card, neither of which works. (and yes I went into playback devices and went though all the options)

Is my front audio just dead, and if it is, any advice on how I can get it so my headphones and my speaker system installed at the same time? I was thinking of just using a headphone spliter and splitting the green port and running a extension to the front of the case but I have no clue if that would work. Any advice would be appreceated.
