i need some help

ok i have a hp running window7 and a tb hard drive with 8g of ram but only got a AMD athion2 x2 processor and i am wanting to upgrade it but im not sure what its best to upgrade it to i play a lot of games like starcraft 2 if that help

It would be best for you to mention all the games you play or plan to play. I believe Starcraft 2 is a CPU bound game though which is unfortunate as any CPU upgrade means you have to replace the motherboard and RAM also. The fact that it is a pre-built HP also makes it hard to suggest any upgrade as pre-built solutions usually cheap out on power supplies meaning you probably don't have any headroom for components with higher power draw.

 

It would also be helpful to know a budget for your upgrades.
