Hey guys! When I put my USB into the USB port, it did not detect it. I tried another port and still, nothing happened. I think that the drive failed somehow. When I went into command prompt, I went to disk part and typed list disk. It gave me Disk 0 (which is my PC hard drive) then Disk 1. Under "Status" it says "No media" Its size is also 0B. It is a 16GB hard drive. I cannot format it as my PC does not give the option. How can I make it work again? I do not care about the data it is storing at the moment.

Does it appear in the disk management utility? Run diskmgmt.msc and check to see if the drive is detected as an unformated volume.

Trying using CMD to clean the disk and reformat it through that or using disk management.

I tried clean command, then it stopped showing. Now WIndows says that the USB is not being recognised by Windows.

Hmm that's odd, did you use it to mount something recently I know that can potentially do some weird things with them.
