OFFICE 2016 HELP! Can't seem to log into word 2016 with one drive account on windows 7

hey guys! what is  happening is basically that i want to log into office 2016, with my microsoft account, but, i cannot seem to. 

everytime i log in, it just reverts back to a point where i did not enter the same information and it is god damn frustrating. this seems to only happen with windows 7 on this laptop that i have and not windows 10. (right now upgrading is not an option.) 

can you guys please, help me out with it, i have to complete some very important work and it is stored  on one drive, and i cannot download it and edit and re upload it, that is just not an option.

Has this problem had to reinstall office. Worked after that.

i tried reinstalling and still, it is not logging in, the same thing happened when i installed office on this laptop the last time it was on windows 7. on windows 10 this does not seem to be the problem.

Did you install OneDrive?

yeah! i have installed it. and logged into it successfully but it does not seem to carry over into word 2016. finally i had to  use my mbp to finish the task that seems to have no problem.
