Hi everyone I want to build a media pc based around the silverstone PT13 case (http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=419) using a thin itx mobo as close as possible to silent. The build I am considering is

Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz Dual-Core Processor(which I already own)
Noctua NH-L9i 57.5 CFM CPU Cooler
Asus H81T/CSM Thin Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard
Corsair 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (or any similar memory)
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB mSATA
PSU?

which comes to £240 at 100W on pcpartpicker. But I have two problems,

1)the height clearance for the cpu cooler is only 30mm, so I would have to run nh-L9i without a fan as it is 37mm tall. I kinda like this idea because it will be basically silent apart from coil whine, however I don't know if the cpu (not overclocked) and mobo will run too hot without any active cooling. And I don't particularly want a cooler like Silverstone AR04 or stock cooler as I think I will be able to hear it. Also I am not even sure the nh-L9i is compatible with Asus H81T/CSM.

2)the power supply. I have no idea what I am looking for. I know it needs to be a dc power supply like a laptop but I'm unsure what to get (like amp, volts, watts, connector, reputable brand). Should I get something like
https://www.amazon.co.uk/UltraSlim-Universal-Monitors-E.... (I live in the UK)

Any help would be great,
Thanks Chris

I doubt passive cpu cooling will suffice. Take a look at http://www.mini-itx.com/store/?c=9. There may be something there that suits.

Check out the psu at http://www.mini-itx.com/store/?c=10#univ

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
