Problem with VSR

Hey, so I have a 1080p 60hz monitor in my setup, and an r9 390. Since the 390 is great at 1440p, I tried to use VSR to take my monitor up to 1440p. However, when I do this, the image looks really blurry, any suggestions?

what input are you using? i.e.vga, dvi, hdmi, dp and can you try it with another type?

Whilst it shouldn't be that blurry, without going from 720 / 1440 or 1080 / 4k you're going to have a none perfect image, just basic maths

Just stick at 1080 and play with render scale if the games you play support it (OW / BF does for example)

I'm using DVI, and I can't use a different input

1440p doesn't scale clean to 1080p. However, it's generally not an issue in many games.

Do you know what resolutions do scale clean to 1080p?

Nothing scales perfectly to anything but 3840x2160 is your best bet.
