hi. my pc shows two different temps for my FX-4300. I guess CPU means the package. but i really doubt that the core is 7 degrees.  I also had this on a previous Athlon X2 220. why does it show so low temp for the core? When under load the core temp cgets around 30 degrees and the package 50 degrees

I would suggest looking at other programs such as SpeedFan, but generally the core temp is what you want to be worried about. I believe the CPU temp in general is the socket temp, though I'm not sure

that's what i want to know. my CPU has an TDP of 70 degrees max. and what I said earlyer under load. the CPU temp got 50 degrees while the core temp got 30 degrees max.  So i want to know where to look at. Also the ''core'' temp drops much quicker then the ''CPU''

Yeah... Definitely try looking at Speedfan. AMD temps are finnicky with HWM in my experience
