Alright, slight story time. I had one stick of kingston hyperx ddr3 1866mhz, it was working perfectly but I wanted to upgrade to 8. Finally got around to it and put it into the system. I had the ram overclocked to 1866 with one stick but when I put the new stick in and tried to boot it gave me a window that said "failed to boot due to overclocking" and then gave me some info on the overclocks I had set up. So I set my cpu and ram back to stock speeds and the PC booted fine. I set my CPU speed back up and its working fine. But when I want to overclock my ram I still get an error. I bought the same exact ram as I had before on amazon new. Now the only thing I can think of is that A) my cheap motherboard just can't do it for some reason or B) I have the ram in a wrong slot. I do have four slots for ram on my MOBO (two of which are grey and two are black) I have them set up in slots 1 and 3 according to the text on the mobo (I wanted to get this black and red color scheme going). Is this the issue?
