New Graphics Card Issue

Just got a brand new powercolor R9 380x off Newegg. I installed the latest crimson drivers and was having massive stuttering in the Witcher 3 and it even crashed and blank screened but the computer stayed on. Tried going back to the catalasyt driver and the exact same thing happens. However it does fine doing just general internet computing. Any ideas on what this could be or did i just get a faulty product. Thanks in advance
