I am currently planning a low budget, small form factor build that includes the fractal design node 202. I don't have the budget to buy high capacity SSDs so i am stuck with 3.5" HDDs that I already own. The only real problem I am having with this build is the fact that the node 202 does not natively support 3.5" drives. I would like to use a mITX gpu and mount the hdd to the spare fan mount but i am unaware of any 120mm to 3.5" adapters.

Does anyone have any experience with this case or ideas on how i could pull this off?

I don't know if you are familiar with the node 202 but there isn't much to tape it to nonetheless have it stick.

Besides, that's a pretty less than elegant solution. . .

You can't stick it to the fan grill? And sure, not elegant when you listen to it, but you wouldn't be able to see it if you used double sided tape.

that isn't actually a fan grill but a removable dust filter/case panel.

Here's a picture with the side panel off and just the dust filter attached.
