Really happy with Blue Snowball!

So I recently bought the Blue Snowball mic through an ebay deal for only $45 which I was happy about. Compared to my old Astro mic which tended to fade in and out a lot it is exceptional. If you are on the edge about one I highly recommend it. Tell  us what you think if you have one for yourself!

My friend has one. On skype I get a lot of ambient noise and something that sounds like coil whine from his end. The polar patterns aren't that great as the cardioid one still picks up a ton of sound from the back. Probably room reflections but still. I can't get over the looks myself :P
