Hello guys,

normally I'm not the kind of guy asking for technical advice on the web, except there is something I can't find any answer to.

So, my windows 10 start menu is bugging around. It's not that it would not open, but although it is functional it is transparent. I can't see the app tiles, except the live ones (like Photos and News, just ignore the fact my PC is in german :P). The Icons of my most used apps are still there. Just take a look for yourself at the screenshot.

I searched the web for solutions to my problem, but didn't find the exact same one (exept something with a virtual machine and some 2D graphics acceleration thing) and tried everything solutions for a completely broken start menu suggested. Please help me find a solution for my problem...

Thanks in advance!

PS: i have tried switching off the transparacy of the start menu, It stays the same exept the transparent part of the menu is now my system color. Icons are still gone

"I was once invited to a party over at a friend's house. At 3 am, I found myself in his room with some friends, overclocking his graphics card. This pretty much is me in a nutshell."

(I'm getting invited to a lot more parties since then, by the way)

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Pasting that in powershell worked when my start menu wouldn't pop up at all, not sure if it would fix this error.
