Nice dat 1070 is gonna be good. Reeeeeeal good! but a non-hyperthreaded Quad-core? I'm just worried about that. Though it is overclockable.

Nothing. It's just more cores help a lot in CPU intensive processes and this only has 4 logical cores. while a lot of the i7s out there are quad-core and hyperthreaded but obviously expensive. Don't get me wrong.

I have another rendering pc with a 5960x so i dont need a i7

If he is only gaming then an i5 is fine. Hyperthreading doesn't do much for 99% of games.
