installing a normal version of windows

Can I install a normal version of windows on a server. I was looking at buying a intel Xeon server can I install normal windows 7 on it?

Of course you can!

You just won't be able to use it as a server (all the Windows server applications/panels/etc won't be there, of course). It will be like a standard computer running off server components. Although, I don't see why you want to do that.. as there is no benefit in using server components beside extreme reliability, in a standard computer environment.
