I'm building my 1st gaming PC and have everything planned out, but wanted to ask someone on here before buying everything

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/hxCKHN

I would like to have a case and motherboard where I can upgrade on it if I wanted to.

I would like to remain under $400 and have all my peripherals so I don't need to worry about that.

Also (if you are viewing this June 2+) should I maybe get a 7th gen APU?

Do you have a SSD? Much better if you do.

Well if you were going for future comparability, I would recommend getting skylake and the 1151 socket. DDR4 is here to stay for a while yet + rumor has it that the next 2 intel consumer releases (kaby lake and cannonlake) are supposed to ALSO run on 1151. this should have you sitting nice and pretty for a while if you go this route.

also what kind of graphics settings do you want to be playing at? not that theres anything wrong with budget PC's, but if you don't care all that much about how it looks, and only more about how it functions, I ran a bunch of games in my skylake integrated GPU, the HD530... at low settings I was able to get 60+ fps in all my games (Tomb Raider 2013, WoW 25man raids, ESO, various FPS, RTS, and MOBA games) While this is by no means a complete benchmark, it seems like if you don't really care how your games look, then maybe this isn't a bad option. Or maybe you spend 400 now, and put more of that into processor and not get a GPU, and then in a year or two when you have more money laying around, you buy ONLY a gpu to go with your rig.

If you want a good gaming experience, you really should find a way to invest more than 400 dollars. OR take those 400 dollars and consider buying a used computer. Could get a decent computer with somewhat current parts and only 400 dollars. And I don't mean go and spend 2k on the PERFECT computer, I just mean try to budget maybe 500 dollars, or something like that. IF you can get just a bit more, you can get a MUCH better experience out of your computer.

All that being said, If I had 400 dollars to spend on a Gaming Computer that comes with future compatibility (assuming I already had OS) this is what I would get.
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/t7ND4C  (Kept your chassis in case you wanted it for a particular reason or aesthetics)

If I had 500 dollars, for the same criteria, this is what I would get

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ZtGwr7 (Kept your chassis in case you wanted it for a particular reason or aesthetics)

For 25% more cost you could get a computer that performs and feels much more than 25% better. all that being said, There's also nothing wrong with the build you suggested if that more accurately and comfortably fits your budget

To the question where is my GPU, it is an APU, which has a integrated GPU into it

I wouldn't mind buying used parts, but I am limited by where I live, but I will look into it

To the settings and games I want to play on. I would like to play 30+ FPS on more casual games at any medium (Witcher 3, Skyrim) and 60+ on any settings for more intensive games (MOBA's, CSGO, Rocket League)

I chose this build because the main game I play (CSGO) is CPU intensive, so I can save money buy buying a 2 in 1 deal.

Once I get into more GPU intensive games though I plan to get a GTX 750 ti
