HyperX Cloud Headset Mic Problem

So, I have bought the HyperX cloud because it was on sale and the speaker side was working fine and dandy. But when i plugged in the mic, it's just not picking up anything. It says it reads and and detects it, but it just not picking up anything. I did everything out there, the volume adjuster, it's all up. Different headjack, nope. Sound setting, did everything there, it didn't work. Please anyone there has any way to fix it, please tell me. I was also thinking of exchanging it too.

You might want to RMA it. Make sure there's no mute switch that's set to off. Also make sure you're really using a microphone input jack and not a headphone jack.

There is a mute button make sure it isnt pressed.

Also go into sound -> recording -> whatever it is plugged into -> levels

what is RMA? and also yes, it's in the right jack, and yes the mic is not muted. Not only that, i checked it by not even using the volume switch attachment to test it

Sending it back and getting a replacement from the manufacturer or store

RMA stands for Return Merchandise Authorization. In our terms, it means return the product.

yeah, I bought it at canada computers, and it was final sale, so i wish I can get it replaced.

The mute button is not pressed, I even directly put it in the stuff, and volume is full 100

It comes with a manufacturer warranty.  Contact Kingston and ask for an RMA.
