Hello guys,

Recently, my custom rig has not been coming out of sleep mode correctly. It boots fine, but when I try to wake it by pressing my power button, my keyboard doesn't light up, and the PC shows no sign, and I can not wake it with the mouse. This is really annoying as sleep mode, which I always used, is now almost time wasting. I am really hoping someone can help me fix this. All help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Failure to wake from sleep issues can be really tricky to nail down... I've heard everything from "make sure all your drivers are up to date" to "disable PLL overvoltage and C-states in the BIOS"

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

First thing I'd try: update mobo's Bios to the latest version. Sometimes, it fixes issues.

Correct me if I'm wrong, can't bios updates be dangerous sometimes? I have an Intel chip and an MSI board.

They are dangerous if your power goes out during the update process.

Otherwise, no.
