Go to solution Solved by RedWulf,

I run it on 2gb, I only use it for movies and the memory is my limiting factor but it still runs and works.

Hi guys I was looking to make a nas out of a really old dell insperon and hp pavillion slimline. Anyways when i look at the freenas web site it says it wants 8 gb while the insperon is 32 bit and only gets 4 gb usage. obviously I cant upgrade the ram more barbecue 32bit.... Will i still be able to run it or is there an alternitive the pavillion is running dreaded vista BTW. Thanks again guys
