This motherboard was dropped off as an e-waste donation. I fix up e-waste donations before completely classifying as "dead".

This motherboard is still in contact - no physical damage one can see to the LGA 1155's socket's pin's, as well as any damaged or missing electrical components on both sides of the PCB.

What happens: The power is sent through the board (CPU fan runs, PSU is turned on) after shorting the front-panel power connectors. This is however as far as it goes.

What i have discovered though is that the board does give error codes when there is no memory inserted, which was a good sign to me. There is however no display coming from the board.

I have attempted 3 different power supplies as well as 2 seperate graphics cards, as well as 2 different (same socket) CPU's, AND a single module of ddr3 ram from my personal rig, as well as another module given to me for testing.

All with the same result - Power, but no display. (Graphics cards too)

I have a feeling that the board is lacking a BIOS and was written off for that reason.

Currently it has a Pentium G2020 processor in, but i've tested and achieved the same result using a Pentium G620 lent to me for testing.

1. What else could possibly be at fault here? I will take any advice at this point. I will be forever grateful to the person that can allow me the knowledge to get this board working again.

2. If it is the BIOS that is non-existent, What are the procedures to getting a BIOS back on the board (If at all possible, without physically replacing the EFI chip)
