new gpu

hello guys i have just brought a new graphics card and have tried installing it by re booting the computer with the hdmi plugged into the graphics card and it just shows no signal help me or mybe i have missed something

also you say plugged the hdmi did you insert the power plug

yes i inserted the graphics card into the pci slot and screwed it in when i turned it on with the hdmi plugged into the mobo ite posted and the fan was spinning on the graphics card but when i changed the settings in the bois for it to use the pci slot as graphics it did not post but everytrhing was working

Did you plug it into the motherboard or the hdmi port of the card itself?

I tried both but I restarted it when I switched

Reset your CMOS, remove the battery or use the bios_reset button on your board ( If applicable )

I've reset it, I am going to try to see if I force intergrated graphics and see if it is detected
