Cyclic Redundancy Check Error

hello today in the office i work the external hdd gave me a problem of "cyclic redundancy check error" and i need to recover the files that are inside of this HDD, anyone know how to recover any information of it, i'm talking about 350GB of pure documents that i need to keep working in this company, thanks for the help.

 

i tried the chkdsk in cmd and doesn't work at all it tells me this: 

"chkdsk can not be run on the drive
The type of the file system is RAW.
CHKDSK is not available for RAW drivers."

 

but when i replug it i can run the chkdsk if i do a second i plug the HDD

i need help please :(
