3M has command utility hooks that you just pull the tab on and they come off.

I want to run an Ethernet cable from one floor to another, and the best way to make it look good is obviously wall mounts. There is a possibility that either the router or computer will move in the future, so I don't want to see any lasting marks on the walls. I was wondering if there was an elegant solution to my problem, that would leave my walls in tact, but if there is none on the market, I may have to resort to some good old fashioned tape.
