Hello! You might have seen my $1,000 build recommendation thread, and I am sad to say that it did not go very well, most of the parts were out of stock or DOA, so I got a percentage of my money in return, but I have accumulated a bit.

My Current PC build consists of the following.

CPU: AMD 8-Core FX-8320 Processor

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3

RAM: 8 GB DDR3-1600 RAM Sticks

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
GPU: MSI Radeon R7 250 2GB OC
PSU: Generic 350AS Watt Power Supply

Case: CyberPowerPC Draco Red Case

OS: Microsoft Windows 10

This is a prebuilt gaming rig that I had purchased from NewEgg.com last Black Friday and has done well with the games I like playing, but to expand into newer titles and to stream as well I do need to upgrade my setup itself but I will be keeping a few items.

The Upgraded Build

PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/VDnznQ

I will be buying a Windows OS activation code from Kinguin and wiping the Western Digital Caviar Blue and putting the new OEM on it.

Also I'm throwing the NZXT HUE+ Lighting kit in it for the Luls.

What do you think?

Currently willing to only upgrade $700

I need to have a few hundred in the bank for other neccessities.

Also, one of the other things that I am keeping in this build but don't know if I can is the

MSI R7 250 Graphics card, I was wondering if I could throw it into the new parts and use it to project onto a second monitor for watching the Stream Chat and having my stuff open instead of running everything off of one GPU.

Just making sure I understand what you can salvage, 8 GBS of ram from the old build and the HDD right?

If I can take the old RAM from my current build and use it along with the other 16GB Ill be purchasing, that'd be awesome.

I will be salvaging the HDD and the CPU as well, Wiping the Old HDD of the OEM and putting a fresh copy on it. plus the old Graphics card to hopefully use as a 2nd monitor gpu to put my SKYPE OBS and Chat on.

For the record, CPU not really worth salvaging. And 16GBS would be more than enough for streaming. V300 is a bad SSD, don't get it. PSU is sub-par, much better can be done.

I for sure want to keep my case the H440 so im keeping that. The CPU I have 0 knowledge about Xeon processors, ASRock motherboards haven't been very good to me. Im going with 16GB's of RAM because I will be streaming and playing so 8GB will not cut it for me + the programs I will be running without heavy FPS drops.

You can use your old 8GBS with the new 8GBS. ASRock boards are fine, but you can change it easily if you so chose. Use this if you decide to switch the board: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-gab85mds3ha . That xeon is an i7 4770 minus an iGPU, you won't find anything better than it for budget streaming and such. Your call on the case, you wanna blow that much on the box, you blow that much on the box.

YOLO on the Box my friend, x'D It's just for the aesthetic's as the case I'd like. And If im not the one paying for the case, then screw it.

Does this seem like a good one?

CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($239.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X61 106.1 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler  ($114.99 @ B&H)
Motherboard: ASRock H97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($61.98 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($66.80 @ Amazon)
Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 380 2GB Double Dissipation Video Card  ($193.98 @ Newegg)

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($74.49 @ SuperBiiz)

So, I need to make sure that the ram is indeed 1600 or 1866. But if it matches the one you gave me, it wont affect performance at all?

Not that PSU. NEX is sub-par. Go for the 4GB 380. Drop the water cooler, pointless on a locked chip.

How does this look? The only reason I added two 8GB RAMs is just a reference for combining the new and old RAM sticks, as those ram sticks resemble the ones I have now because the ones I have now dont have any heatsinks.

Eh, better. But the Z board is pointless since the 1231v3 can't OC.

Do you have a recommendation? Because I want to be able to use 2 Graphics Cards in this build.

The PowerColor Radeon R9 380 4GB PCS+ Video Card

MSI Radeon R7 250 2GB OC Video Card.

I don't know if this will work but the idea would be to have the R9 380 as the main "Gaming" Graphics card to play my games on and have the R7 250 as a card that I can use on a second monitor to have my stream up and chat and such just so I don't have to ALT+Tab anytime I want to look at chat or change my setting etc.

You could just run it off the one card. Shouldn't make too much of a difference. Alternatively, you could switch the CPU to a 1245V3 since your getting an aftermarket cooler. Could just run the 2nd monitor off of it's iGPU:

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-cm8064601466509

Not so sure if you could have the 2nd gpu and just use it for a second monitor however.

Also that CPU is a bit out of my price range.

If you can live with a different cheaper case, but still very high quality quality one, and without the aftermarket cooler, price can drop down to this:
