So, I am having a bit of doubts building my first rig, so let's get things straight.

So far, I have been looking up for benchmarks, here and there, comparison videos and such.

Right now I have:

- X1 Xpredator White Edition Rig (Which now I regret buying because I found it's not quite a good rig, It's a decent rig between the bad tier of rigs. I might re-sell it so I am open for  some suggestions.)

- B150 PRO Gaming Aura Motherboard.

As for the things I plan to buy.

-Now the fun thing here with the processors is that... here at Mexico, the prices are quite... explosive. To the point where... I don't know if I should by an i5 6600k or a i7 6700k. Quick note here: I actually went for a 6th gen build because of 2 reasons, 1) I know the 4790k is way cheaper and still the very same performance as the 6700k, just like... by 3 frames ish BUT for some odd reason, the 4790k and the 6700k are about the exact same price here. Both standing at 6500 pesos (Around... 357 dollars) which makes me think: "If they are at almost the same price, I can go for the Skylake way and still use my money wisely." So that's why I am going for a skylake processor.

-As for cooling system, the Rig already has 2 fans and I plan to buy a CorsairH60 which seems to be pretty good. Except that I don't know how the maintenance of the water cooling system works. Any words on that water cooler?

- Ram is pretty straight forward, HyperX Fury 2133 2x8GB (16GB) which seems to be the max MHz the motherboard allow.

- HDD and SSD. 1TB on HDD and 240GB on the SSD, simple aswell.

- As for the Power Supply I really don't know. I want to OC my processor, but some guys tell me I should buy a Gold power supply, because keeps safe the processor even on sudden high wattage charges and so, is it really worth it? Also, I am getting a 650w Supply

- I am really interested in getting a X ms delay Monitor (Preferably under 3ms) that has 120hz, trying to look up for those here in Mexico but the sellers here are stupid or some crap like that. My experience with the sellers: "Uh sorry dude, we just... know they have HDMI ports and... they are 21'' and FullHD" So... yeah, I might need to buy from the outside, any suggestions?

And for the big deal, the Graphics Card. I currently have a 750ti installed in my family PC which I temporarly use for gaming. (Literally a crappy PC with a 750ti inside it.) And I was about to spend the wise used money to buy the 980 non "ti", I saw one around... 10k pesos (549 bucks... holy crap someone end my suffering.) Until I heard the HYPE of the GTX 1080 & 1070. I was like "OMG that thing is brutal." So, after I heard all the amazing stuff and that it was coming around May/June, I thought I should wait until the 1070 was released, because the 1080 is kinda too much for me and that I don't really need to waste that much money, since I can't actually lol. So I'm going to wait for the 1070 to be released and wait for benchmarks, looks the tables and stuff and decide which card to buy.

So that would be my first rig I would like to build. I don't plan to SLI yet, I got all the peripherals (Gamdias Hermes Keyboard, Corsair M65 RGB and HyperX Cloud II Headset.) and I feel pretty much ready to start the build, but I want some opinions before starting! :^) Thank you for taking the time to read it! ...

>inb4 TL;DR

Also, I just joined lol and forgive me for any grammar mistake ;; I really try my best to be better at english.

What's happening here exactly? Are you building a new PC? if so what budget/country and what are you using it for? and do you need a display?

and what's your current hardware?

V* and you probably don't need/want an OCing CPU anyways, the i7 6700 is already pretty good, and the 5820K is a better choice overall than the 6700K

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Pretty much yes, exactly stuff like that about my motherboard. So It can be a little useless to buy a 6700k if I wanted to OC. crap. Thank you for the note.

Pretty much yes, A New PC, and from Mexico.

I plan to get into programming and VR game coding. So a pretty powerful PC is my goal-- aswell as for gaming and game recording/streaming.

I need a display yes, right now I don't know any good 120hz monitor. And my current hardware is a very old PC, using 750 chipset, so nothing much to talk about it.

Maybe I forget to mention that I had a Motherboard and Case ready...

B150 PRO Gaming Aura and X1 Xpredator White.

So I can't back out of 6th Gen processor and I am going to wait for the GTX 1070. But you seem like you didn't read my post at all lol.

And what do you mean by "Wait for Polaris?"

Its the next generation AMD cards to be released (at least from what I've read) this coming June 2016, simply put, they will be called the 400 series, like the previous r9 300 series. Go figure.

Streetguru is right, you cannot overclock using a B150M motherboard. You can sell your MoBo and get a Z170 (Asus or MSI is great, but will cost you), or just use your B150M like what I'm doing with my planned build. I'm buying a MSI B150M Night Elf. Here is the rest of my build for your reference.

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($194.89 @ OutletPC)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory  ($62.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: A-Data Premier SP550 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($56.00 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 380 4GB Video Card  ($228.88 @ OutletPC)
Case: Fractal Design Arc Mini R2 MicroATX Mini Tower Case  ($69.99 @ NCIX US)
Power Supply: SeaSonic 520W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($65.99 @ SuperBiiz)

CPU: Intel Core i5-6600k 4.4GHz | Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z270F Gaming | Cooler: Cryorig H7 | RAM: GSkill Ripjaws V 8GB 2x4 3200 MHz | GPU: MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X | PSU: Seasonic G-550w 80+ Gold Certified, Semi Modular | Storage: 250GB Samsung 850 EVO, 1TB Western Digital Caviar Blue | Case: NZXT S340 Elite (Black/Red) | Monitor: BenQ XL2411 144hz | Keyboard: Corsair STRAFE RGB Cherry MX Silent | Mouse: Corsair M65 Pro RGB

I'd like to make a Chemistry joke, but all the good ones ARGON. *nudgenudge *winkwink
