i am currently running my FX-8350 at 4.34 GHz with 1.4 volts on my ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0. Ive heard some things about this mobo not being the best at oveclocking. Do you guys think it is a good overclock if not what should i do?

It's a bit middling.

Most should do 4.5 or so with 1.4V.

I'd try go for a more efficient clock.. my testing of multiple FX cpus say most will do ~4.2-4.3 at around 1.325v with high level of loadline calibration.
