Hey LTT Form. I am currently building a new computer and was wondering if there would be issues taking my SSD from my old computer and putting it into a new one. My old PC had an Asus motherboard with all the drivers and programs like office on there. The new computer I just built is a Gigabyte board and I was wondering if there would be any issues if I just plugged the SSD into my new build. I want to be able to keep the original programs like office and photoshop and windows 10 already on there.

It's best to do a fresh install if you're switching to a new board, but if you must keep your current stuff, make sure you remove all the drivers for the ASUS board, and install the ones for your Gigabyte board.

But as I said, fresh install is recommended. Otherwise, putting the SSD into the new build shouldn't be a problem.

I mainly just want to be able to keep office. It came pre-installed with the pre-built pc I bought 5 years ago and I'm not looking to pay $60-100 a year when all I really need is word. How easy it to just uninstall all the old drivers?

They should be found in the Uninstall Programs portion of Control Panel. Though you will want to boot into Safe Mode if possible as that will avoid any driver conflicts that may arise.

Hey there :)

Using a OS that was installed on one motherboard on a new one is highly not recommended due to the many probable problems with the drivers. You are very likely to get BSODs and even corrupt your data that's already on the drive. This guide is very useful when it comes to finding your Key.

As @Godlygamer23 suggested, there are ways to re-use your drive on other motherboards but you should strongly consider all the potential risks for your data.
