Asus Xonar D1 won't function properly

Since previous post I've bought this soundcard since it was only $10. At the moment I can't get my headphones (Sennheiser 558) working, only left cup is playing. I've tried so much different options but they will only play with 2channels/PCM 48 KHz/5.1 speakers mode. I've tried reinstalling, different driver, the uni driver and still nothing. Could this be software conflict with realtek mobo drivers or wrong settings in windows? Anything?

for my Asus Xonar DX 7.1 i had to install the oldest drivers and then work my way up to the latest or it wouldn't work

Ok, it seems like im retarded and got confused by the manual and plugged in the headphones into wrong port.

 

Just to be sure they are actually in the right one, in the picture BOTTOM side goes "behind" motherboard, TOP side is where you screw it in place and RIGHT side on picture is where capacitors are which are facing down? Sorry for retardness.

yes you want to use the front audio out for headphones, some headphones might sound better in the center out, but you can change that in the drivers, also make sure you have inserted the plug 100% in
