Ok, when I first installed windows 10 and was messing around with things, it was a new system so I was fiddling with OCing while getting the OS set up, and after it refused to shutdown or restart on command forcing me to manually do it with the computers power button, restarting it would pop up an error OC failed screen, went fully stock settings and continued with OS setup, and encountered it a couple more times but ignored it. When it went to sleep it would occasionally refuse to wake as well. Once everything was set up the shutdown and restart issues stopped, at least I thought they had, and I had other issues to deal with. Recently I've noticed the failure to shutdown or restart happening almost every time after the computer's been ran for more than a couple minutes again telling me OC failed, and sleep is still periodically refusing to wake (it also did this in win 8.1). As I said it was telling me OC failed even without OCing so I don't think that's actually the issue, and rigorous stress testing has not presented any issues to suggest there's a problem there. Anyway all drivers up to date as far as I can find unless something was released since yesterday, and fast startup is disabled, I've run Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth (which I found fixed most of the issues that drew my attention away in the first place)  sfc /scannow and chkdsk and all the virus scans. The system hasn't blue screened or crashed except for the above mentioned issues. Hoping to avoid editing the registry unless it's really necessary because I don't feel comfortable doing so.
