Ok, sorry if this is the wrong place for this.  When I play games, mostly WOW, I like to watch movies on my other screen, usually through netflix or xfinity, and I have some temp monitoring on the third monitor, when I alt tab out of WOW or similar game, to change the movie or something and alt tab back into game, both the movie and the game stutter, or lag for about 10 seconds or so.  So I am not sure if this is because I have WOW, Netflix, real temps and MSI afterburner running all at the same time, or because both of those programs WOW and Netflix are working off my internet, or if I need to increase memory since I have all these programs running. It is not really that big of a deal, because once I am back in game it is fine, just more curious.

My rig

I7 4770@3.9

16gb Gskill memory

GTX 980

1tb Samsung SSD

Asus Sabertooth z87

a bunch of hard drives.....

You have plenty of memory. I manage with a similar workload with 8 gigs of ram.

It should be because of overload on the disk. It sluggifies everything if the workload is at 100%. Check using task manager, if thats the case

Please vote for Donald Trump. I am out of sitcoms to watch.

When lyfe gives you HDDs, make SSDs

Thanks for replying, I will check that out, my blizzard programs are on a separate SSD than the OS, and to be honest I haven't thought about that so I will check when I get home today.  I was really thinking of buying an addition 16gb of ram, you know because reasons, but after seeing the new 1080 I think I will just be saving my money for that.  Also, if it is overload, how would I go about fixing that? Thanks
